Kdan’s Partnering With Qihoo 360OS To Deliver Safer, More Productive Smart Devices To Consumers

An Exciting New Partnership

At Kdan Mobile, we set a goal of reaching a larger international audience with our digital document solutions. With this goal in mind, we proudly announced a new partnership with Qihoo 360, a Chinese internet and mobile security provider. Our PDF Reader application will now come pre-installed with Qihoo’s 360OS, an Android-based operating system, thanks to this new partnership.

“Riding on the millions of downloads we have had, the collaboration opportunity marks our attempt to increase our footprint in the global market,” explained Dr. Wei-Chung Wang, our vice president of global marketing and strategy.

We feel this partnership will add to our 120+ million downloads worldwide. Kenny Su, Kdan’s founder and CEO, said, “We expect to get 10 million new users from this new pre-installation arrangement.”

What this Means for Users

“Kdan’s PDF Reader has helped countless business professionals work more efficiently,” added Wei-Chung. “Partnering with Qihoo’s 360OS will allow more to see how they could be better at handling their document needs.”

This new collaboration will help Kdan and Qihoo deliver a safer and more productive user experience. Qihoo’s 360OS features a simplistic, power-saving hardware and software combination that makes smart devices more secure while remaining battery-efficient.

Continuing to Improve Users’ Experience through Partnerships

Joining forces with Qihoo is just one step in our plan to reach a wider global market. In fact, this partnership with Qihoo 360 is our third pre-installation agreement. We’ve already entered into similar agreements with hardware and operating system providers, Samsung and Nokia.

Our search for new partners isn’t limited to just expanding our international market presence however; we’re actively searching for and collaborating with organizations that will benefit our users.

“Our core value is providing our users with tools and services to create unique content, so everything will surround the idea of ‘content,’” explains Kenny. “We also work with, who provides a stylus for users to have better experience creating content; and LKKER, the largest platform for creators in China, to give more users a chance to try our tools and services.”

Looking ahead, we have plans to continue building strategic partnerships to reach more people and improve their users’ experience.
