Animation with Details: an Interview with Li Ting Yi

iAniMagic: The Animal Party ended in December 2020. We want to thank all of the contest’s participants–especially the students and teachers from Shude University of Science and Technology, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and Rangsit University for participating in the student award.

iAniMagic 2017 Winner Story – Aastalim, Honorable Mention & Student Award Winner

Lin Xiaoman (林曉曼), also known as Aastalim, is the 2017 recipient of both an Honorable Mention and a Student award in iAniMagic 2017 with her submitted animation, Pick Yourself Up . Lin’s work is traditionally stylized with eye-catching colors and visuals, but in this competition, she chose to present the characters’ movements with minimalist black and white. Alright Kdanimators, the Take It Easy animation challenge is finally over!

Time to stop slaving away on your animations and finally take it easy for real (pun most intended). We know it’s been a long, tough ride for many of you as you squeezed out your 6-second magnum opus, but we hope that Animation Desk made the messy creative process smoother, and easier for you.
